Bus & Train Operators
Under this heading, I have pooled a number of companies providing bus and train services in the U.K. and Éire. The compilations are not claimed to be exhaustive but it is a living one and I do make additions as time wears on. For convenience, I have separated bus operating companies from their railway counterparts though the bigger transport groups’ interests straddle both.
For now, it is restricted to road and rail transport but that is never to say that I won’t extend the section beyond this scope. After all, tram companies could make an interesting next step, particularly given that many cities have regained them after a period of them when some thought them to be obstructions to other road traffic. It’s amazing how wider perceptions and prevailing orthodoxy of thought can change.
